Short Film - TRD

Taking on a fictional documentary format, TRD explores the fragility of time expressed through an illness that distorts the sufferer’s perception of time. Known as ‘Tempo Rubato Disorder’ the illness prevents the sufferer from experiencing life in the ‘now’ forcing the main character in the film, Lee Potts, into a life of asynchronous nature. Lee finds therapy in the form of structure and repetition, specifically drawn to pylons and railway tracks.

The film is designed to make the audience question their own experience and perception of time, edited in a way that aims to bring the audience on a similar level to Lee’s illness.
